So the Michael Bay-produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is out now. This is my review. It's really hard to adequately describe how this film made me feel by the end, so I will leave the task summing up how this movie made me feel to the ever eloquent Morgan Freeman:
The Wrap Up
+ The Turtles did have a few funny lines that are, at the very least, chuckle-worthy.
+ It is not as bad as many fans of the series thought it would be...
-...but it's kind of sad when not being a travesty is one your film's highlights
-Forgettable in every way conceivable. Easily the most dull summer blockbuster of the year
This review is so short because like Mr. Freeman said, I just don't give a s@!#. That may seem unprofessional, but honestly this is the most effective way I can convey how utterly mundane this film is. It is neither horrendous nor good. It's a sad fact that with today's technology, we should be able to produce a live-action version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that lives up to the old cartoon and comics, but lazy screenwriting and acting keeps this movie from doing so. Seriously, even Megan Fox managed to be more lazy than usual, a feat which I thought was impossible. I give Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles a Meh out of 10 (5 out of 10).
Crash is back!
About an hour into Wonder Woman, as Diana jumped into the madness of No Man’s Land dressed in her full Amazonian regalia, I found myself feeling something I have never felt before in a DCEU film: joy. Pure, unfettered joy.
Playtonic games is looking to revive the 3D platforming genre with their new title, Yooka-Laylee. As somebody who backed the project the day it went live, I have been incredibly excited to get my hands on this game. So, does it deliver? Is this a true Rare-vival like the developers promised? Or does Yooka-Laylee fail to deliver? Watch the review to find out!
I have spent 30 hours galavanting through Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the Nintendo Switch. I guess I should tell you if the game is any good or not. It is good. Like Ocarina of Time kind of good. Maybe even better.
Disney is releasing a Star Wars film every year for the foreseeable. How does Rogue One: A Star Wars Story stack up against last year's release, The Force Awakens? Is the future bright for the galaxy far, far away?
Agent N managed to get his hands on an NES Classic Edition, and has been playing with power ever since. He has taken a break from his retro-gaming marathon to give us his thoughts on Nintendo's pipsqueak console.
How well does this tropical Pokémon adventure hold up to earlier entries in the series?
It 's no secret that Nintendo's miniature love-letter to retro gamers is incredibly hard to find. Whether Nintendo truly didn't realize how popular this lil' guy would be, or they are engaging in a nefarious plot to artificially increase demand for the product by making it seem like it's selling fast, the final result is a whole lot of heart-broken and frustrated fans. My "review" addresses this issue head on.
Worst. Heroes. Ever.
How does the 13th installment in the Star Trek series stack up against the series' illustrious history?
